With the arrival of Heath Ledger's awesome Joker to movie theaters, everybody is asking whether he is the #1 movie psycho criminal of all time or not.
I asked myself the same question and lots of super freaky psychotic killers from movies came to my mind.
I had to resist the need of placing Heath Ledger's masterpiece as #1. It is not that he doesn't deserve it. Perhaps he is #1. But his acting is still fresh in our minds. That wouldn't be fair for the rest.
Please, don't expect to see Norman Bates in this list. It is too obvious. He is perhaps some kind of Jedi of Psychotic criminals. Let's give him an honorable prize and move on.
Neither you will find all those serial stupid teens slayers such as Jason, Freddy and similar weirdos included. This is serious stuff.
Of course, this is a list compiled under my own criteria. I guess that you will be surprised of my choice for the number #1 Psycho Criminal of all time.

Surprised? Let me explain. Norman Bates is a classic. Hannibal Lecter is simply perfect. And Stuntman Mike is, well, a psycho with an attitude. Loads of it.
What about those who didn't make it to the list? Lots of them. Mel Gibson's Porter from Payback, Daniel Day-Lewis' The Butcher from Gangs of New York, Kevin Costner's Earl Brooks from Mr. Brooks, Steve Buscemi's Garland Greene from Con Air, and many others that could have been here but finally didn't.
